It is so hard to start something NEW. I know so many well intentioned people just want to feel better and look better as the clock rolls over from 2015 to 2016. So I want to do what I can with what I have available to me to help give you a head start this New Year! Have you heard of periscope?? I just discovered this awesome app. Pound Rockout Workout did a 12 days of Christmas promotion where people from all over the world joined them live from LA for 12 days of pound workouts in a row!!!
SO here is how it is going to work. Starting Jan 4th (yep it is a Monday) until Jan 15th I will be broadcasting workouts (M-F) from my home to your home. You can join me live or you have 24 hours to complete the workout on periscope before it is gone. You up for the challenge?

(1) Search for periscope on your mobile device. If you want to use your ipad look for iphone version of app / there is no ipad version yet.
(2) Download periscope. Sign in and set up an account using an existing twitter account or a cellular phone number.

(4) Use the email sign-up form below to get a schedule and workout card for the 2 week event.
(5) Periscope will alert you when I am logging on live for workouts.

It is what you do with your failures that will define your chances at victory! Food was made for pleasure, it is good for your body and is meant for you to enjoy. We get in trouble when our enjoyment tips into guilt and condemnation. As a christian we learn there is no condemnation in Christ which means, thoughts, heaviness, burdens about your mistakes and short comings when it comes to food are ALL false. God has forgiven us and is FOR US, not against us. Condemnation holds us down, keeps us in that pit of missteps and unhealthy habits. Start changing those voices in your head that beat you up and keep you down ask God to replace them with TRUTH!
I Do Not Care What You Eat : Part 1
Part 1 of a 3 part series on why it is not about the food. In this episode of Cornerstone Fitness TV I talk about how dealing with the feelings associated with food is more important than me giving you a list of foods to eat or another diet to go on. Are you using food to give you a sense of comfort or perhaps it is a sense of control? To change the food you eat, we need to get to the root of the relationship you have with your food. Lets start learning to love good food. Take our comfort to God and while we are at it give up our need for a sense of control to HIM, this is called surrender and it is a very healthy posture.

My first VLOG! Taking what my fitness participants call their end of class pep talks to a whole ‘nother level. Determined to change how people define health and fitness and flip things upside down. This is the starting point, the foundation. We are laying a cornerstone and using it as a reference to build a sturdy and healthy life that reaches beyond the boundaries of ourselves and into the a life of service to others. I am very excited!
